RV Lithium Battery (LiFePO₄) — Safer, Lighter, Longer-Lasting

Tired of heavy lead-acid, slow charging, and uncertain state of charge? Our rv lithium battery brings dependable energy in a compact form—with built-in BMS and mobile app monitoring—so you know exactly how much power remains, anytime.

Why RV Owners Switch to LiFePO₄

Real usable capacity, fast charging, and intelligent protection—engineered for RV house systems. The rv lithium battery maintains voltage under load, charges quickly, and has low self‑discharge for hassle‑free storage.

Built‑in BMS

Multi‑level protection (over/under‑voltage, over‑current, over‑/under‑temperature, short‑circuit) and cell balancing. Custom profiles available.

Mobile App Monitoring

See SOC, cycles, voltage, current, temperature, and alarms from your phone for transparent energy management.

Low‑Temp Charging (Option)

Safely charge down to −20 °C (−4 °F) with integrated self‑heating and firmware control. Standard packs: charge ≥0 °C.

Lighter & Compact

Up to 50% less weight vs. lead‑acid equivalents—free up payload for gear and water.

Fast Charging

Max charging current up to 1C (model dependent). Typical full charge in ~2–3 hours with adequate charger.

Environmentally Considerate

No Pb, Hg, Cd in cells; lower replacement frequency reduces lifetime waste.

Safety, Standards & Compliance

Standards‑minded Design

  • UL 1973: Vehicle auxiliary power for RVs
  • IEC 62619: Industrial cell/system safety
  • UN 38.3: Transport test summary for shipping

Risk‑aware Engineering

Thermal behavior, charging temperatures, and cycle‑life are considered in our BMS and integration guidelines for predictable, safe RV energy systems.

RV Lithium Battery — FAQs

How much longer does an RV lithium battery last than lead‑acid?

In deep‑cycle use, lead‑acid is often ~200–300 cycles, while LiFePO₄ commonly achieves 1,000–2,000+ cycles when kept within moderate DoD and temperature ranges. Actual life depends on use, charging profile, and environment.

Is LiFePO₄ safer than other lithium chemistries?

LiFePO₄ has a higher thermal‑runaway onset temperature than many NMC/NCA chemistries, reducing risk when paired with a robust BMS and correct installation. All Li‑ion requires risk‑informed integration.

Can I charge from my RV alternator or generator?

Yes—match the charger profile and current limits. Li‑ion charging at 0.5–1C is typical; many systems achieve full charge in ~2–3 hours. A DC‑DC charger is recommended for alternator charging.

What standards apply to RV house batteries?

UL 1973 (vehicle auxiliary power for RVs), IEC 62619 (cell/system safety), and UN 38.3 (transport) are the key references. Your installer should document the compliance path.

What about winter camping?

Use the optional self‑heating low‑temperature package for charging in sub‑freezing weather. Otherwise, do not charge below 0 °C. Discharge at low temps is possible but capacity reduces.
